Now, Madonna made news this week. Not music, but she did make news. She is
claiming her human rights have been infringed upon.
 
About a hundred acres of the land that she owns with her director husband Guy
Richie in England was recently designated as "open countryside," which means that
the general public is allowed to walk on it.
 
But Madonna and her husband have filed legal papers arguing that allowing public
access to their land breaches their human rights by infringing on their privacy.
 
The Richie's estate is about 1,200 acres or 485 hectares. The inquiry into their claim
is expected to last for five days.
