The movie “The Day After Tomorrow” takes a look at what the world would look like
if the greenhouse effect and global warming continued. The result is a worldwide
catastrophe and the beginning of the next Ice Age. It is being embraced by
environmental and anti-Bush administration groups but criticized by the White
House. The film opens in America on May 28th.
 
Fahrenheit 9/11
 
Michael Moore premiered his controversial film “Fahrenheit 9/11” at the Cannes Film
Festival. The film criticizes the Bush administration post-Sept 11. It also questions
the Bush family’s connections to Saudi oil interests and the family of Osama bin
Laden. It is overtly political, with no pretense of being balanced. The audience at
Cannes loved it. Moore is still trying to find a U.S. distributor for the film.
