도박이나 사업 협상에서 자주 쓰이는 표현으로, '투자하기에는 다소 위험성이 높고 지금 당장은 수익을 기대하기 어렵지만 장기적으로는 훨씬 더 많은 수익을 기대할 수 있기 때문에 출자금(Ante)을 늘린다'는 의미입니다.
